How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Cleanuply and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period.
How do I restore my purchase on a new device?
Simply download Cleanuply on your new device and open it. Your subscription is tied to your Apple ID and will be restored automatically. If it doesn't appear, tap 'Restore Purchases' in Settings.
Is my data safe? Does Cleanuply access my photos?
Yes, your data is completely safe. Cleanuply accesses your photo library to analyze it, but all processing happens on your device. No photos, videos, or metadata are ever uploaded to any server.
What happens when I delete photos through Cleanuply?
Deleted items go to your iPhone's Recently Deleted album in the Photos app, where they remain for 30 days. During this time, you can recover any photo or video. After 30 days, Apple permanently removes them.
Why can't Cleanuply see all my photos?
If you granted 'Limited Access' during setup, Cleanuply can only see the photos you selected. To let Cleanuply analyze your full library, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > Cleanuply > Full Access.
How does duplicate detection work?
Cleanuply uses bit-perfect comparison to find exact copies of your photos and videos. It also uses perceptual analysis to find similar-looking photos, like multiple shots of the same scene, so you can keep your favorite.
Can I use Cleanuply offline?
Yes. Since all analysis happens on your device, Cleanuply works perfectly without an internet connection. The only feature that requires connectivity is subscription management.
What iOS version is required?
Cleanuply requires iOS 17.0 or later. It's designed for iPhone and optimized for the latest iOS features.
What does 'Similar Photos' mean?
Similar Photos are images that look nearly identical — like multiple shots of the same scene or subject. Cleanuply groups them together and suggests the best one, so you can easily remove the rest.
How quickly can I expect a support response?
